Need Cichla advice.

Since becoming a member on MFk I have seen many ppl with stunning cichla. I have researched them and understand their requirements. My local importer of SA goodies has some cichla juvies on his list. Well this is what he sent me when I asked him that.
"There are black point, heckel, paracas, purples, reds, silvers, spotted and yellows in sizes from 3-5 cm."

What group should i buy to grow out? Anybody have any advice? Which ones are the nicest?
I understand how big they get and what they need. I am planning a species specific tank more than likely.

that sounds like a discus list more than a cichla list.

yeah I cannot find any p bass by these names, thanks for clearing this up. Maybe he misunderstood my request.
