Need Cichlid ID

It was labeled a Jack Dempsey but seems to be lacking some bling to me lol... it is about 3" any thoughts or facts? is it actually a JD?

I love when a Jack puts out those dark colors. When they are really healthy you can see all that pretty blue on their bodies and they have a nice violet hue. Did i mention JD is my favorite fish....
