Yeah.. give him a varied diet.. Flowerhorns color better on different types of food rather than same pellet everyday... give a variety of pellets, frozen/live bloodworms..

I give 4 or 5 different pellets throughout the week, feed frozen bloodworms, krill, shrimp on Saturdays, and do waterchanges on Sunday.. and on Sunday, I don't feed at all..
