its a salty had to have came in with my live rock in january

I'm leaning towards one of the Xanthidae... The Xanthidae family of crabs are the most agressive crab verieties. They not only eat what ever they can get from fish to corals to snails to other crabs, but they will also destroy your live rock, as wile they grow they make the hole they are hiding in bigger, which slowly gets bigger and bigger until it becomes a structural problem.

SO... your best bet is to remove and feed to a crab predator :) (so its not wasted haha).

well ive taken it out and its in my fuge....someone thinks its a juvenile gorilla crab...but it doesnt seem to have much hair so i dunno just glad i got him out

Entirely possible, things change as they get older also Xanthidae covers a number of different crabs, so Gorilla crabs could be one of them.

Not gorilla crab... at least not like the ones ive seen on a quick search, BUT crabs with black claws are almost always agressive predators. I'm still leaning towards my origonal ID, but even if I'm wrong, all crabs are omnivors so when they get big enough, they WILL eat anything the like.

Here is a link to most of the Xanthidae crabs, keep in mind colours/patterns can very from crab to crab.
