Need dwarf pikes

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not really a group type of fish.

Rainbowfish and giant danios would be fine, but they do kill smaller tetras even when they are too large to swallow whole.

They are not nice fish, they can be random in who they will hate too. Hatchets might get picked on, the cories too, and only the large rainbowfish would be safe long term, the dwarf pikes get around 4-7 inches so they will be gunning for most of those fish when adult

My female regani kills tetras her size, about 3 inches now, the females have a dorsal spot by the way, males don't. The spot is usually very faint in the lfs so you have to watch closely. Right now the only fish she will live with is a male HRP. So, be prepared for a possible slaughter if you do this

She also killed the two males she was with, I don't advise keeping dwarf pikes in a group unless you have a really big tank
