I am some what new to the fish game, so I need some help from some of you veterans. I have 2 rose queens flowerhorns that have paired up. The female has laid eggs once but it was unsuccessful. I've been told this happens alot the first time a pair of fish attempt to breed. But I've also been told that its hard to find a sterile male. So I just want a little input on what you guys think. Am I stupid for thinking these fish will breed or do I have a chance here? Thanks in advance and any and all info is much appreciated.

They are 5-6". I just wasnt sure if it was one of those fish that the males are normally sterile. So is it common for the the first batch of eggs to be unsuccessful? Thanks for your help.
