Need expert avice about cichlids!

Hello guys,
I have a 60 gallon community tank with some 4 tiger barbs, 2 red glass barbs, 3 rosy barbs, 1 red tail shark, and 3 gouramis. I am thinking to buy some peaceful African cichlids (if any). Any suggestions? Please?? I know some South American cichlids are OK to keep in community tank (such as Rams), but what about Africans?... I heard that Acei cichlid is kinda peaceful... Please HELP!!!

If you are going with Malawian cichlids, it is best to go with only Malawians in the tank (with the exception of some Victorians). Barbs, tetras, gouramis, etc. - all are potential victims. Ps. acei may be an exception since they are generally open water swimmers with little aggression. If you were to experiment with mixing Africans with tropicals, it is about your best shot at success.
