NEED FAST ANSWER to simple question

im gonna get a 90 gallon tank that measures 46"x18"

i have a stand that is 44"x17.5" is it ok to put the aqurium on it?

wierd question i know i just wanna make sure that wont reduce the structural integrity of the tank

hmm thanks for your reply but thats more like an opinion what i need to know is will the tank break and spill 90 gallons of water on the floor if its hanging off 1" on both sides

Is the tank glass or acrylic? Does the stand have a solid top or is it just 2x4's?

Throw a plank on the stand the length of the tank to spread the weight of the tank on to the short stand. It may work.

With a smaller tank, you could definitely get away with it. With a 90, I'd be pretty nervous. If you put some sturdy plywood or something under the tank, it might work but don't take my word for it.

It will work for a couple of months and then you wil get a crack in the bottom of your tank.

ok, ill just pick up a proper sized stand tomorow when i get the tank they will be pretty cheap
