Alright, I have a Goliath ATF and want some good current in my tank.
I have a pump that pumps out 4750gph @ 4' and dont know which way to go with my plumbing.

Im first stuck on my set up (boot-leg blue print included:ROFL:) as far as location. I think im ganna go with 2 on one side facing the long way but we will see.

2nd Im realy stuck on. The pump calls out for 1.5" Dia so should I have 1.5" all the way, including the 2 places where the water will go into the tank?
or 1.5" all the way till the last 90* elbows and drop them down to 1 1/4"?

Which will give me the best current with no tornados?
Also my pump is in a 50gl sump, do you think there will be to much pressure and suck all the water out of the sump? The over flow has a return of 1.5" also (I Guess I got spooked cause my current plumbing has a nipple at the end so the pressure is strong. It starts to drain my sump and I usually shut it off before it is empty.)

1 pic is the blueprint and the 2nd pic is to see the the salt water nipple that pulls in air. With that pc off it drains my sump, otherwise when it is on, it does not drain it at all.

Thanks

Bump???

With that much current, maybe you want to make an extra sump and put the pum in there. Then you could put the return jets any way you want.

PS: I would make the first one. Kind of like a river tank.

Thanks, I am leaning on the same one
