Need filtration ideas

Just picked up 3 new tanks that I am building a rack for. Any ideas on a single filtration unit for all 3 rather than giving them seperate internal units? I am planning on 2 tanks side by side with the third on top (like an L shape)

Sounds complex - can you direct me somewhere with instructions for this method? Also this is going in a bedroom - are sumps easy to fail and possible knack my carpet?

youd either have to drill the tanks yourself, or take them somewhere to be drilled.
you could also run a large air pump with individual sponge/box filters for each tank, but that wont provide any mechanical filtration.

otherwise, youre looking at individual filters for each tank.

Theres also drilless overflows but drilleds nicer
