need fish I.D. please

Can some one tell me what the name is of the fish that looks like a tin foil barb but has yellow and black striped tail?

You're probably referring to a "Flagtail Prochilodus" or "FeiFeng". I believe the scientific name is Semaprochilodus taeniurus. Kinda neat looking but those lips they have just gross me out.

Yeah.. your description sounds pretty much like The Prochilodus or Fei Feng.... but post some pics for us to see!

They are great fish but you need either just one or a bunch, they tend to fight each other. They also tend to harass other fish, Provide plenty of green for them to nibble and try to keep with larger, active fish.
