Went to the fish store today and was offered 5 of these for free. Any idea what they are? They are about 3-4 inches long. Thanks in advance.

I know it is hard to see in the picture but the horizontal lines running down the whole fish are a light orange and black/blue. Thanks again.
giant danio...quite a versatile fish. their a schooling fish that thrives in warm, but can adapt to cold water as well. i had a pair in an unheated goldfish tank for about 3 years. they are mainly a community fish, altho cna be a bit nippy at times. they can also do well with larger fish since their extremely fast, and generally will do good at not getting eaten.
