Change... but reappears every 6-7 days. I’m running on a 70 gal tank , cannister filter.

Could these be ammonia or nitrate burns ? Will attach a photo of water test results

Could be excessive slime coat production. Just stressed from the water. Doesn’t look like anything obvious. Would cont with water changes at 50% twice a week with a dechlorinator and bacteria. How long has the tank been established? How often are i feeding? What’s ur normal water change schedule?

Looks like your Flowerhorn is dealing with water conditions that are stressing him. How long has this 70 gallon been up and running? The sponge filter I see in the one picture looks very clean, which isn't always a good thing. What is the PH of the tank?

PH of the tank is just under 7 but it fluctuates ... I feel like my KH maybe is too low..... I feed twice a day and there are 2 plecos in the tank with him, that’s prolly why the sponge filter is always clean..... the FH has been in the tank for over 5 months now and it use to house Goldfish. I run an ehiem 600 canister, sponge filter , mini hang on top filter and hydra 40 internal filter and also a surface skimmer. Sounds like overkill I know. I use seachem prime as a dechlorinator and aquarium salt after every water change. I normally do 70% every Sunday

Ok so your PH is not stable and is too acidic. I use crushed corral in my canister filters to stabilize my ph. Ph between 7.2-7.6 is what your are going for as a stable PH. Go buy some crushed corral and a filter media bag. Fill the filter bag with 5-8 cups of crushed coral. Rinse the bag in the sink to get out all the fine shell pieces. Add it to your canister filter. The crushed corral will stabilize your PH for 12-18 months in 2-4 days.
