Need fry suggestions!

Setting up a 40 for assorted fry. Already thinking of a peacock bass, green terror, albino tiger oscar, frontosa, and assorted plecos. Need more suggestions! Anyone have ideas?

you do plan on getting a much bigger tank in a year or so? cause you'll need it.
a frontosa with those tank mates will not do well. they require different water parameters and are usually too passive compared to the others.
I suggest you spend a lot of time reading up on your proposed fish before purchasing.
cycle your tank first.

I kno to cycle it first. Im not stupid. Haha. And I've got an adult frontosa who does great with more aggressive fish. And I plan on having a 250 by next summer. They'll all go into a 125 next winter. I believe all cichlids have different self characteristics. I don't judge them based on the general species description. I've got a 10" red devil who is fine with any smaller cichlids but if u put him in with a fish close to his size, he'll tear them up.

And trust me, I do a lot of reading. I work at 2 fish stores. Haha. Im just trying to find some good suggestions to put with them. And a lot of them will get separated when they get bigger
