Need fx5 help

Im in the process of tiling my 180 gallon (love it so far). I was looking for a decent powerhead to place at the bottom of the tank to keep debris from settling so the filters can catch it. But i have a idea/question i have 2 fx5s on the 180 how can i extend the output hose where its an inch off the bottom of the tank? Pvc pipes or a hose and would the output from both fx5 be stong enough to keep the debris flowing any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated

You could use pvc and a one inch inner diameter hose to extend the out or intake closer to the bottom .it might work but i think u would still have some dead spots in the tank .but i would give it a shot try putting them together or splitting them up dont give up rt away cause u will prob get diff results depending where u place them good luck hope it works out for ya

I used clear pvc pipe for inside my tank and attached the fx-5 strainer to it. Works great!
