Need help announcing pregnancy

My wife woke me last night with a positive pregnancy test. We've been trying for 4+ years for another child. After tests, medications and treatments, it appears we got one on the way. We didnt get the joy of announcing the first child bc we were unmarried, in school and terrifyied of what our parents would say. We told our 5 year old she would be a big sister so its only a matter of time before she blows the surprise. My wife is going to the obgyn asap to verify. After that, we plan to spread the word. Im a very outspoken unfiltered type of person so i need some very interesting ways to announce it

Host a small house party but come up with a fake reason for it, maybe your oldest is getting ready to start primary school or something, then once all your closest family and friends are there, make the announcement and surprise them all at the same time...

Tell everyone at the Babyshower

On a serious note, I would invite all the grandparents over your house for dinner and say it there. Maybe get a copy of the ultrasound and put it in a decorative frame (DIY stuff) and present each one as a present to each section of the family (i.e. your parents get one and hers the same). Dunno, just thinking out loud... Congrats though!

Congrats on the pregnancy! I know you are very excited.

I'm sorry that you had to hide your first one, though. :/ For this one, I would wait until the end of the first trimester to announce to extended family and coworkers. As for how... hmmm, billboard?

Plan a gathering. Seat family members immediately upon arrival. Just prior to the Appointed Time, get the 5 yr old real hyped up on soda, filled with details of a sibling-is-on-the-way, and how excited everybody will be to find out.
Have 5 yr old enter room last, via helpful friend.
Have the camcorder rolling & capture the scene!!!
