need help...appetite drop drasticly

[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]my regular is every 3 day 20% but this time did abit more like 40%...this is after read that should do 40% wc,but after a 40% wc both of my ray are not eating at all....may i know what went wrong....other tank mate is doing fine..is it because of the drastic wc


so now what should i do... just wait for it to come back alive like before... but both are swimming well but i can see that they are breathing abit harder than before

need advise on what should i do

have add some salt and that is all

Need water params. Did you make sure the temp going in was the same as in the tank?
Gravel or barebottom?

i wouldnt worry.... i never matched the temp on my ray tank.... i always cooled the tank down some.... just keep a eye on them...

whats ur tap ph? and tank nitrate?

how about not doing a water change for 1 week * depending on the results you give on your water params (if there are all A OK)

and see how they settle.

it could just be too much of a big change, if u always did 20% and now all of a sudden 40% = rays not eating.

could be anything,. but if thats the onyl thing u changed.

step back , take a breather and just watch your rays... let em settle..

what do you normally feed your rays? is there anything paticular you know they LOVE, maybe try that ( eg worms)

did you add dechlor? if well water have you had bad rain storms recently?

Keep an eye out for parasites, they are a pain where the sun don't shine!

but it all settle

finally today both ray are eating like usual... this is after i took out the kelah's out from the tank...i just notice it this morning that the kelah was disturbing both ray especially the female....so after took it out from the tank... about 1 hour later i can see that both ray doing well and just after 2 hour's i saw that both ray keep staying at the feeding place....

so i throw in a few piece of mp's... well...... guess what happend... they went on eating like there is no tomorrow
