i just got a new aro today. he was swimming fine. but now hes sitting on the floor. is this ok?!? hes not on his side or anything. hes tank mates are all fine. pls i need some help and/or advice. whatever could fix this problem. or is he ok??!??
 
Its fine what size is it?
 
hes about 3 inches. a lil baby. he swims. then sits. then swims. then sits. its tripping me out!!!. this is normal behavior?
 
sitting on the floor? No that is not fine put him back in the tank:D



Seriously, arowana that are scared or stressed will lay at the bottom of the tank. Since he was just added to the tank he is still stressed. Give him some time and he'll be swimming as he should.
 
he aint sick or nothing right? i just did a water change like 3 days ago. should i do another water change? or give him a day or so.
 
How many other fish is he being kept with?? What size tank with these other fish. Ive experienced this before with small arows,sometimes scared or shy of other fish. Stress
 
hes in a 20 gallon long until my 100 is cycled. hes with three baby indos that are eatting fine and a fei feng. which the aro was chasing around earlier. loll now hes back up and swimming. its like hes resting or something. i dunno. dont wanna lose him. should i hold back on the water change for now??
