Need help ASAP!!! tsn x rtc eye problem...

Hey everyone,
This morning I noticed on one eye of my 6in hybrid cat a type of cloud/white pimple substance (not sure if its a fungus-) at any rate, I already put salt and melafix down for my 150 gal (see sign below for other fish in tank) My question is should I just treat the tank w/ him in it, or move him to an empty 20gal tank?

could have possibly rubbed it. do a water change an add salt, melafix is a plus. you should'nt move it just treat thye tank its in. should clear up quickly.
 
Wait m8. Catfish are very sensitive to salt and meds. Add a half dose of each and turn the temp up to 87 and keep it there. Good for all your fish anyways. Keeps diseases away.
 
for sure take it easy on the meds, if the 20 is not pre cycled then def. dont move it. should clear up fine, keep your eye on it though, if it doesnt go away quarantine in a cycled tank.
 
I had this with my big, 16" at a guess tinfoil, she must have caught it on something, left it alone, made sure water parameters were fine and it healed itself in maybe a week.

Personaly not a fan of medication unless its absolutely necessary, in nearly 20 years of fishkeeping only used ich treatment once, about 20 years ago and "touches wood" not had any disease related loss since just by keaping water parameters good.
 
thanks guys, did a water change yesterday,raised the temp up-looked at it today and it looks the same if not better...hopefully I caught whatever it is at an early stage! (nocks on wood!)
