NEED HELP ASAP WITH FLUVAL EXTERNAL

I just set up my new tank tonight it came with a fluval FX5 I moved all the media over from my other tanks into the canister and added the new sponges etc.

However it runs for about 5 - 10 mins then it cuts out so then I have to unplug it and replug it and it works okay.

I need really fast replies please as it is 1:30 am in England and I will be up till I can get an answer or the fluval factory opens. lol

Please any thoughts really helpful

it runs for 2 min then stops and purges. another i think 2 min then it will come back in.

sounds like you just have an air pocket in there. i would run it for 10 sec, unplug it, let it burp and repeating this a few times untill it runs consistantly.

first post is right feel like a total idiot now it was second hand and no instructions so I had no warning lol I have been up just unplugging and replugging all the time lmao talk about a vicous circle thanks guys though!
