Ok i just recieved my shipment and i got 2 jaguar cats that are around 2''. A few hours of being in my tank i notice that one of the jags where missing. After a few minutes of seaching i found him stuck in a hole half way on top of my large piece of driftwood. I tried pulling him out by the tale with just enough force to not rip him in half with no luck. So i took my wifes tweezers and grab it by the fin and tried pulling him out only to snap a bit of the fin off. running out of ideal and i really don't want to cut or chizzle the drift wood because its one of a kind and worth $200+. Thanks for any infos.

I dont know if you have many options. Got a pic? INstead of pulling, is it possible to try and push?

Can't push theres no opening. I think it might just be a goner soon this is the third day of being stuck in the hole. Man this sucks ass

That is pretty rough... That would suck being stuck in a hole that long... poor lil guy.

I think these last 2 ideas could work. 2 inches is pretty small so he must be real delicate. Then again, his head won't shrink much and neither will his fins.

My synodontis stay in their driftwood holes for days? I wouldnt try to pull him out.
