Need help ASAP

Posting this for s friend, he fed shrimp last night n today the dat had a big lump by the neck... Can someone help please!!! Any ideas why n how to treated.. Thanks in advance

Did he feed shell on? If so, shell may have cut it's throat, and it is inflamed. My ex wife had that happen, had to take to emergency room. Darn the luck, she lived.

No shell in the shrimps

Hopefully just a temporary reaction to some preservative or other chemical the shrimp might have been injected with.
