Hard to say. Would suggest ich but doesn’t look right. Has it been increasing in number? New fish? Would dose with seachem paraguard. Would check ur water parameters ASAP.

Not a new fish hence why I’m stressing,
On his head has been slowly increasing and doesn’t seem as active.
I’ve read that Tsn don’t react to medinces to well ??
I’ve put my temp up to 32c for past couple of days

Hello; raising the temp is half of a common treatment for ick as this speeds up the lifecycle of that particular parasite. However if the problem is bacterial or fungal then temp raise may be counter productive as this can favor the growth of such.

Since one detail you report is that the whiskers of the catfish seem to be rotting away this suggests something other than ick alone. Might be ick and a secondary infection of some sort or might be no ick but some sort of other infection.

Since you have not as yet posted any water parameters nor any information about things like the water change (WC) schedules any sort of suggestions about what the problem may be is a guess at this point.

My best suggestion at this point is to get the tank and water into the best conditions as you can. Up the WC schedule with an emphasis on vacuuming out as much detritus as possible. If the filters have not been cleaned in a while then consider doing such. ( Note- a word of caution here in that such cleaning needs to be done in stages so as not to disrupt the biological filtration.)
Reduce the feeding can help with water quality.

It depends on the medication. At this point, I would medicate, staying away from formalin or formaldehyde products. Seachem paraguard is pretty mild and can be effective.
