Hi in my 55 i have a 5 inch jd and a 4 1/2 inch convict also a 4 inch pleco, So when i frist got my hjd it was 2 icnhes thta wa sbout a month ago and the convict picke don it and the female con so i took the female con t a new tank and left the dad with hsi fry he took care of them on hsi side of a divider very well and i know have them almost an inch long in a growout tank but i tookt he divider out at first and the convict went after the jd not knwoing how big he was and the jd opened his mouth and scared the crap out of the convict it hougth the table were turned but i woke up the next day and it was back to normal the jd being terrorized by the convict, its been almost a month since then and its still at it, i love how mean he is btu at the same time id rather it be my jd that was that mean im wondering what to dow ith my convoct i really wanna keep it but i was thinking maybe put my female con in with my jd and see hwo they get along, my jd has only ever attacked my pleco what can i do what do you think?

i have a 2" inch male con that chases my 5" jd around, maybe if you add some dithers it will lower the aggression
The convict is a fully mature adult and the JD is still like a teenager. Give it some time. You could try to add dithers as mentioned to give him something else to chase around.
