kelp beds of La Jolla
noticed about a three days ago my big boy argentae stopped eating its kinda hard to see his physical condition cause theyre in a 700g temp intex pool so all i really see is the top. so today i took a closer look and noticed his belly area was bloated and anal tube was sortof stickin out. so i took him out the pool and hes really bloated. im suspecting some sort of internal parasite of some sort all other fish are very healthy tho. and i dont feed live and no new fish has been intrduced in the pool lately. has anyone ever encountered this problem. need suggestions please. by the way his diet is all pellets.

possibly constipation?
Put him in a bucket or tub, and put in 1 tablespoon of epsom salts per Gal..
Keep an eye on it and leave it there for an hour or so if possible (keep a close eye on it)
The epsom salts work like a laxative, and also draw out fluid if it is normal bloat..
You can also do quicker stronger epsom baths over a few days to bring down the bloating..
Put in tub or bucket, and add 2 tbs per gal, leave him in for 10 mins a time, 3 times a day for a few days..
hope this helps..
(epsom salts arent normal salts, get them from a chemist or supermarket )
