NEED HELP BUILDING A STAND FOR 125G ACRLYIC

NOT TO SURE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE FOR THIS POST BUT HERE WE GO. I JUST BOUGHT A 125G TANK FROM SOME KID AND THE STAND HE MADE IS GREAT FOR A BOMB FIRE. SO I WONT TO BUILD A NICE STAND TO PUT IN MY ROOM. CAN MFK MEMBERS PLEASE HELP ME!!!

ya see the stand is like 6 inchs too big. and the framing in ugly. please help.really wont to get to work on it today!!!

i personally think the stand looks alright not knowing what the framing and supports looks like i would trim it up and clean and stain it and itl look awsome

Here is a link to a basic stand build http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1169964. I just made a stand for my 125G glass tank using it but still haven't finished 'skinning' it yet.

Just make sure that you have a solid top to support your acrylic tank, as I have heard other people say that it is a requirement.

Very nice looking tank, BTW. The stand doesn't really look that bad from the front but structurally it looks kinda iffy.
