Hi everyone, a while ago i posted my 95 gallon tank because i was having some issues with my vieja synspilum, who was beating my JD all day, and unfortunately i had to give him away....
So right know my stock is a 5" male JD, a 3" female GT, 2 3" yoyo loaches and a 3" clown loach.
I was thinking on adding an EBJD to the tank, possibly a female, i heard it's very hard for them to pair up, is this true?
And a friend of mine asked if i could keep one of his GT, a 3" female.
I thought on maybe trying the full combo to see how this works out, what do you guys think?! Is this possible!?
What would you do if it were you?

By the way the tank is a 48" length 20" [SIZE=-1]depth, and i have plenty of filtration, AC70 + AC50 + JEBO 829

Thanks in advance

If it helps i'm sending a photo of the tank too, i'm going to change the aquascape a bit in the right corner, by adding another driftwood, changing rocks and adding some artificial plants..... oh and i will put a black background so it wont look so ugly...

Doesn't anyone has anything to say ?! :(

Well i got a baby EBJD, he's currently on a 30 gallon community growout tank. My brother gave him to me, but he's too small to be sexed, maybe when he growns i'll be able to figure .....

So i'll ask again in my last attempt for an reply:
will it be okay to add an EBJD and possibly a female 3" GT to an 95 gallon tank that currently houses an 5" male JD, a 3" female GT (i think she's short bodied), a 3" clown loach and 2 3" yoyo loaches ? I'm not worried about filtration and WC.... do you guys think it's more a try and see think? Should i add only the EBJD? What would you do?
I plan to add schooling tiger barbs for dithers...

Any input given will be appreciated!

I wouldn't add a ebjd to that mix they are expensive and very fragile little fish. I tried to keep 3 in a community tank and all 3 ended up dying. I would say absolutely no to a green terror and ebjd together. Ebjd should not even be housed with normal dempseys due to their aggressive nature muchless a green terror. Adding the gt alone should be just fine though

Or get more clowns so your 1 isnt so lonely. IME they are much happier in schools of at least 3.

A baby ebjd with an established 5"male might be a bad idea in a 95.
Another GT should be fine. Eventually you will run into breeding issues I would imagine. Dithers could help some. Barbs are nasty little fighters. Dont get under 12 barbs or they WILL kill eachother.

sorry you had to bump twice, i find it happens alot on this site people just ignore you, I really like the set up very interesting and dont worry about yo yo loaches being attacked ive got one little 4" yoyo with a flowerhorn and a lima shovelnose and he gets on just fine!
fish temprement changes alot from fish to fish so you may or may not be okay with the sizes of old JD and the one you want to add.

i think if you want to add an EBJD go ahead, if your waters good and your fish are getting along then go for it but just keep an eye and bare in mind that you may have to remove one of the fish if they fight when they get bigger but above all enjoy your tank and your fish because this is a HOBBY :)

I would not do it either ebjd are very sesitive and are stressed really easily even your clown just playing with it could stress it out wait till its bigger then you should be able to add it but watch for any trouble at the first sign of trouble remove it.

I agree with everyone on the EBJD don't put him in with your fish he will get kill and are very fragile.

Thanks everyone for the advices!!!
I'm going to grow my EBJD some more, and when i think he's ready i will try to put him with my other fishes and watch it very closely, if they start annoying him too much i'll get him out.
