I'm going fishing with t dad at a place called salt springs it is known to produce monstrous LMB.the water is crystal clear my set up is a 7'Abu Garcia Vengeance with a pflueger president spinning reel.my lures right now consist of plastic worms ,spinner baits, topwater hollow frogs, and a couple rapala minnows.what can I add to my lure list that would work

If you have swimbaits that would be consistent around this time of year. Bass where I'm at are all on shad mimics and senkos.

I believe rapala minnows are considered cranks and jerks but they should be able to produce some decent reaction bites. But if the water is clear I suggest you use lighter colors like white and blue on your lure choices

Well that knocks the frog out it's a dark green what about a watermelon red plastic worm it's like a light green with red flakes in it

If there is a lot of topwater cover like duck weed and Lilly pads the frog is unbeatable. And watermelon green with red flakes always works for me regardless of water conditions lol but that's just me. All in all I suggest you bring a little of everything and just adapt to what the bass are after on that particular day

never went freshwater fishing. only surf fishing or off the pier. but i heard rapala works wonders. try the curly tail grub also.

Well we r reserving a boat for a half day which is 4 hours so we will see not until Saturday tho it's an extra bday present cause my bday is in 42 minutes
