posted in sick section but got no replys

Nah not to much at all will relaxe his gills and get him to calm down ....You could add another half cup if ya want wont hurt;)

he cant swim for crap he trys but ends up doin flips and spins. his front fins are real bad. i turned the power head off. and unpluged the ac500 filter. leaving the two ehiems fun on it. that way theres not to much curent. also threw in 5 bucks in roseys. i got three cichla in there two are beat up but one im real worried about.

Don't turn off the the power heads if you have air going to them .If he is messed up internaly and has swimm bladder probs he may be lost time will tell if he is just having trouble because his fins are beat up he will get over it ...

he was upside down still breathing but didnt have the strenth to flip over think its gonna be dead by morning
I got one the round air bubble things in there and two ehiems runing on the tank.l Powerhead was blowing him around

u should put a divider in to prevent your other cichla from suffering the same fate. I had 4 monos with my jar in my 150. The cichla always got nipped at, but never anything serious. One morning i woke up and my biggest growout was head down tail up dead. I suspected the jar, but didnt think much of it. A few days later and i come home in the afternoon to find my smallest growout stuck the to intake of an AC 110. His fins were all torn up and he had bite marks all over his body. The divider went up that night and its been a week and the small cichla recovered.

How well do cichla recover from torn fins or body gash marks ?

It seems these guys never heal.

My kelberi slammed his tail a week ago and created a small line and it just will not heal.
