need help clowns

hi there need some help .i just started marine tank about too munths ago let it cycling and got my first fish . i got two clowns called two striped clown let the bag flot for 30 min let some water in left them 10mins then let them out they are in the tank about a week they just hide all the time .the min i come in to the room they just freek out .can any one help me out not sure what s wrong nitrate 10 nitrite 0 ph 8 thanks

Your nitrITE should be at zero...or do you mean nitrATE??

Firstly, when you acclimate fish, its best to do it for about an hour, and i always recomend using the drip method, about 2 drips per second..

On the fish, i would say you just need to give them time, have patience, let them settle into thier new surroundings..Do they feed??

yes feeding ok but if i stand near the tank they wont come out to feed i have to go out of the room .i was in the l f s today and some the fish will come right up to the glass and that is in a small tank mine is a 200L cauld they be wild fish and not tank bread .thanks for your help

same here with a siganus unimac. , first 2 weeks wont come out, now eating and swimming all over the tank, just give them time, i think you have wild ones, not CB

Time and patience is the key here...have both, all will be fine. As long as you can add food to the tank, and it gets eaten, all is well..

Your fish will eventually recognize you and come out when you come near (they always want to be fed)
