Hello all!
I need some help deciding what to keep - as well as potential options I may have not considered.

Heres the deal...
I have a flowerhorn who (unfortunately) is getting far too aggressive with his tankmates as he grows. I cannot add another tank (mostly due to electricity reasons), so here are my options:
1.Rehome the flowerhorn
2. Rehome My axolotls, Clawed Frogs, and Dwarf crayfish so I can decommission their smaller tanks to make room for a larger tank for the flowerhorn.

I genuinely don't know what I want to do. I'd hate to loose my flowerhorn but I'd also hate to loose all those other animals. Individually I'd say I like the flowerhorn more than any individual of the others but all of them combined I don't know. What would you all do?

I would rehome the flowerhorn. Is the flowerhorn in the same tank with the axolotls, and frogs?

No - all of them are in different tanks. The flowerhorn has a tank, the axolotls have a tank, the frogs have a tank, and the crayfish have a tank.

Only you can truly weigh all sides and come to a final decision. Having said that, I suppose I would decide on getting rid of the smaller pets, to make room for a larger tank for the flowerhorn. But then big tanks + cichlids are my strong preference because I feel I get more enjoyment out of them.

If you can get a proper tank, I’d keep the FH and rehome the rest

I have an axolotl that found a home with me, because, well...I felt it was a better option than his current situation at the time. But personally, I get much more enjoyment out of active fish like cichlids and livebearers....both of which I have as well. The axolotl just sits around 90 percent of the time. And monitoring his tank to stay around 62 degrees is slightly more difficult to me than plugging a heater into an inkbird, and forgetting about it.

I think the answer would be to identify what you get the most enjoyment out of, and choose that one.
