I have a 55 gallon tank, soft water, ph-6.8, I use quickdip test strips, ammonia is in check, nitrates and nitrites are in check, its freshwater, aquarium has been set up for about 2 months, i Have a 6 inch senegal bichir, 6 inch needlenose gar, 2 red claw crabs, giant danio. temp is 80, no live plants, emp 280 filter, no sunlight, last water change was 3 days ago, i did a 60%, fish get fed shrimp pellets/ occasional rosy minnows. I have all sorts of infection going on in my tank, most of my fish have died, I treated the tank with jungle anti fungus tablets, the senegal bichir seems to be surviving along with the needle nose gar and giant danio. But the bichir had a large white spot on it's tail that eventually turned into a red sore, the giant danio's fins are brownish and a little tattered, and the needle nose's fins are somewhat tattered, im supposed to re-dose tommorow if the infections don't clear and if it's not a fungus problem I don't want to do that.

I also would think that there could be issues with the crabs going after the bichir. they can take hunks of flesh from fish sometimes

What was your parameters prior to doing a water change? You may be doing to large of a water change and that would be stressing the fish out. I would be starting off with smaller water changes and slowly working up to larger ones. I know a guy who has been in the import business a long time and he has shown me what happens when new fish from the wild experience water changes that they are not use to can cause some really bad stuff to happen. such as fungus infections, ich break outs and the such.
Mainly this happens 24-48 hours after the water change too.

petsmart does not carry Acriflavine either, is jungle labs just a bad brand, is there much of a difference since they are both for treating fungal infections? and dr sudz, im not exactly sure what my params were before i did a water change but i know the nitrates, nitrites and ammonia were okay, the ph was lower.

I think everything is alright now, the red sore on the bichir is much smaller and barley visible and the needle fish is also fine, the danio however is probably a goner because my bichir attacked it pretty badly last night. I put in the second dose today, and the jungle labs tank buddies appears to be working.
