I discovered this on Bichir today.... Plz help... He's in a 150 gal tank water specs are good i just did a w/c today temp is at 82 eats good i feed it hikari carnivore sinking pellets.... plz comment thx

2 plecos, 2 blood parrots, 3 aros, 3 cichilds... what can i do for it? put slime coat in the water?

i'd get rid of the plecos add stress coat and anti bacterial asap my cuz'n lost his ornate becuz of the same thing

Make sure the heater has a cover over it as well.

You have to remove your ornate's pleco tankmate since it is not a good tankmate for a bichir mainly because of the pleco's tendency or habit of sucking the slime coat off its tankmates especially bichirs.And add salt in your tank water to facilitate the recovery of your ornate bichir.
