i have a 129 tank that iset up about 2 weeks ago , i was told to get tetra safe start and to dump two bottles in the tank and then put the fish in there is two jds in the tank one is about 8 inches the other about 5in ...all the substarte is from the 55 gallon ..plus all the decor and the filter..now the filter i have on it is a xp2 which i know is small.till monday when i get another pump for the ocean clear filter i have ...i was told that the tank wouldnt get cloudy..WELL it looks like milk...will my fish make it i have been testing an dthe ammo is alil high .25-.50 flux. nitrite was dead nuts on same with nitrate..im at a lose and im hopen for my fish .....help...thanks
 
ur going through a bacterial bloom.. fish should be fine but u made a mistake adding them in so fast!
usually u should wait 2 weeks for the bacteria in ur filter to settle!!
just watch them and see if they eat!
 
Do water changes until you can put ammonia and nitrite back to zero where they should be. If you have a friend who keeps established tanks, ask him for some established filter media for your tank to cycle instantly thus avoiding losses.
