id sugest moving the paents if u can its alot easyer than trying to scoup up 100 micro fish
turn off your filter and get a sponge filter and some fry food like cyclopse

ok thanks do think it would be ok to put the parents in the 29 ? thats the only other tank i have.

yes. well along with the one plecotomus.

it was actually funny, i wasnt even trying to do this.

aight turn off the filter move the mom and dad and the pleco to the 29 get a sponge filter and some cyclopse rasise they fry till there about quarter inch and u can net them and move them to the 29 take the spong filter and put that in the 29 when there about quarter inch u can start feeding them crushed flake food untill there big enouff for pellets u can have a normal filter in there when they get aobut 3/4 inch what u do from there wiht em is your choice

YES parents will be fine in the 29 gallon it is only temporary so it will be fine but i do 100% agree it will be much easier to move parents and if you move little ones they might die from the switch parents will be able to ajust to different climent and different water condition much better than the babies .
feverfish is right sponge filter is a good idea so you dont suck them up or get a peice of thin foam and rap it around the intake of the filter so they cant go up the tube . but sponge is much better idea .

good luck .:headbang2

u can leave them alone with the parents no?
just put a sponge in the filter intake. less hassle and the parents will take good care of their babies.

well what are your plans for these babies?? are you going to sell them or have 100 extra JD's? if u leave em in the parents tank they may pick off a few themselves.. and then youll have the parents and like 15 babies not 100!
