Need help filtering a 29gallon.

I have a budget of 30$. I was thinking Penguin 350 ( i have an emp 400 on my 55 and i love it) or a AC30. If i get the Penguin, ill use the AC110 sponges and some filter floss. AC30 biomax and sponges.

Go for the AC. It's a much better filter, IMO.

even if the AC30 only does 150 gph compared to the penguins 350?

penguin 350 imo, 2 bio wheels 2 slots for media and a a good amount of gph.

Do you really need to turn over the water in the tank more than 5x per hour? Besides, the AC is a much more efficient filter, IMO. I've owned both, and I won't be purchasing any more Penguins/Emperors.

Hmm,but what ive heard is that saltwater tanks need more filtration, and thats what the 29 is going to be. I dont know,i need to base my purchase off of more than 2 opinions.

You should probably have posted this in general salt, with a little more info on plans for the tank.
