I need approximatly 4000# of perferably argonite sand. any ideas on getting this in larger quantity than bags? and hopefully a little more affordable.

4,000 pounds!? I would go with homedepo or a hardware store and get some play sand or pool filter sand.

That is indeed a ton of sand or should I say 2 ton lol... my suggestion would be to contact someone and ask about a wholesale deal... unless your ok with playsand, as aragonite sand will cost a ton unless someone is willing to give you a deal for buying that much. The cheapest I have ever seen it would cost you around 4000k for that.

WOW, you must be loaded... haha, as I am planing a 1000g and i thought it was big (though with my careful planning the costs are not that high). Is this going to be in your home? Or workplace? Or public aquarium? haha. Or at your home but outside?
