Need help finding hood/lid/light for my 60gallon tank.

I don't understand what kind of lid I am going to be able to use for this tank, if somebody could help me it would be appreciated.

I measured my tank 3 different ways and this is what I came up with.

The tank itself measures 36" x 18"

from inside the molding it measures 35" x 16 1/2"

The last measurement I took is 17 1/2" x 16 1/2" and that would be from the end to where the molding comes across in the middle. The tank looks like it was built for two lids this way. Here is a overview shot of the tank.

since I can't find anything that will fit my tank I think I am going to buy some plexi glass and cut myself a lid. Any advice?

I found that one on here http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=3781&N=2004+113765 already but I measured my tank a couple of times and 16-3/4" is too wide. I only have room for 16-1/2".
