need help for gravel vac

I got a problem my tank (terrarium) has a height of 1m (standing on 90cm stand) the water level is 50-60cm. so there is still 40-50cm head space I have to cover to go over the top. with normal siphon the water goes out of coz but dont stirr up the gravel and also don't get any bigger dirt particles. I tried to put a little powerhead in row but it doesn't help. How to get the dirt out of the gravel. I also got plenaria due the problem with the gravel. Has anyone a diy master plan, what I can put together to clean the gravel. otherwise I will go bare bottom.

Your post is a little confusing...

Are you saying that you have a 1m high tank on top of a 90cm high stand? If that's the case, siphoning shouldn't be a problem... If the hose isn't long enough to get a siphon going, make it longer (either by adding a new piece and a joiner, or just replacing the current hose with a longer one).
