Kind of looks like an injury. Any sharp objects in the tank? Other fish?

Appears to be more injury related as opposed to deterioration of the lateral line as commonly seen with HITH
I would do a water change and add aquarium salt and melafix since it looks like an injury
there are fish in the tank but they are red blood parrots they don't attack him no sharp at all . take I look closer I feel like it cancer or tumor tho because when starts happen it starts getting bigger and start ulcer in that area and now just like that. the fish eat ok but every time in the tank his head always point down and the tell up like 45 degree

I don't think the hole in the head
I tried to do research a lot this fish only have 1 hole but it's kinda tumor for me because it ulcer from inside out It does look like an injury. I’d try dabbing the area with methylene blue on a qtip and dose some triple sulfa just in case. Check that water quality.
Thanks for the reply. I will try to do that water quality. It's best I can tell. Well, water test no chloride, chlorine, low nitrate, nitride, and I water change before 3 to 4 days 30%. Now I will start in two days. Because my fish tank bowfin 120 gals, I think? , and I have eight fish's
