Hey Everybody, well long story short i posted this in the correct section "set up and filteration" but recieved no responses...so I'm ging to try here since pretty much anything that goes in this tank will be going in the larger ray tank eventually (mainly will be a tank of geos) when moved into new house. Well these are some questions upon after i have changed my 75 from saltwater to freshwatetr:
-Should my substrate be added first to the system or should I wait for it to be cycled? I will be using pool filter sand...just wondering because occasionally gas pockets occur in sand and I think the cycle will have an effect on that
-In my 3 chamber sump I will be running a filter sock and 5 gallons of pond matrix...should I put any other type of media in the sump?
- What are the most reliable heaters on the market today, i have a fluval 300 watt but it seems to always be off with temp?

Can I add the drops of amonia and then add an entire bottle of seachem stabilty to tank to help with bacteria growth?
-What bottle of amonia should I purchase as I'm having difficulties finding one around me so I will have to order it off of amazon.
-What brand and grain size of pool filter sand should I purchase? As well as how deep should it be?
I just filled up the tank after draining out the vinegar and water that was in it. By tomorrow the temp of water should be at 85...
