need help for wet/dry sump system

i have a 5x2x2 tank and i just finished the hard part of building my stand for it, i did the math of the measurements of the tank and it comes out to be around 150 gallons i am going to run a wet/dry filtration sump system and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them. the main questions i have is wat size sump is needed and a good design for the trickle part. i also have a one 125 gallon and wanted to know a good canister filter that i can run on it.

I'd do a 40 50 or 55 gallon glass tank. They can be found all day long on craigslist for cheap. Submersible pump and submerged media. There's some detail of how I did mine in the thread in my sig. Best sump I've ever built and by far the easiest to maintain

the bigger the sump the better, but it also has to fit in your stand
