So somewhat recently I got a Delhezi bichir, he is right around 10-11 inches long, he isn't eating as much as I would like. I have only seen him eat once or twice a few pieces of tilapia or shrimp. I always hand deliver the food directly to him because of my oscar but he just swims away. I have had him for almost to months now and I am starting to get concerned by this behavior. Should I try night crawlers? Or get larger pellets and make sure that some of them stay on the bottom after the oscar is done? I am thinking maybe since the meat is frozen and thawed he cannot really smell it. Any help would be appreciated, I had a palmas who sadly passed who would eat anything.

I personally wouldn't worry about it as long as it eats. You can still offer the earthworms but the Oscar will probably get to them first.
