I'm Where I'm At
I'm new to the AFT's and don't know much about them, I don't know what kind exactly it is, I just got one at about 4". I doubt it's a Goliath but anyways my question,............

It's right eye seems to be "foggy" or has a white-ish or clear spot in the black of it's eye and the left eye is normal. Is that a problem?? What is it and how do I treat it!!

Did you get it from a MFK member? Might be able to get a close I.D from pics of the seller.
The white stuff might be ick. If its like a cloudy white, then I think its ick. Just add some aquaria salt (do just under what the box of aquarium salt says (mop)). It should start to go away with in 12hr (if its ick).
The best thing to do for an ATF (prob all fish) is to get them off live fish. Try market/frozen shrimp. Dice the shrimp into small pcs and stop giving feeders. This might take about 2 weeks to 2 months depending on how hardheaded the fish is. Basically you are starving your fish and only feeding what you want him to eat. The trick is not with the fish, but with the owner not to give in and feed feeders! Once on shrimp I personally give my ATF'S treats once every other week and buy about 2dz minnows (goldfish are bad to give to your fish, were minnows are fast and give your fish exercise). Hope this helps a lil, and congrats on the pick up.

I'll try to get a pic up tonight. But it don't look like it has ich. I'll try the salt anyways. Thanks for the info!

cloudy eyes can be alot of things. overall poor water quality. keep the water top notch and it will go away. if he has had it for a long time it might be permanent. he also could have ran into something, in that case it will heal.

cloudy eye..
add some salt and see if it goes away.
a pic would definitly help.
its most likely a vittatus.
but it may not be.
like west said, try to get it off live foods.
usually theyll take it soon.
depends on the fish though.
