No unfortunately not for fish,:D just swimming:grinno:, winters are just to cold here:irked:. It's a big inground pool, and the heater is broke right now. It's an old gas heater and costs a fortune to keep it warm. I'm just tryin to think of a more cost efficient way of heating it than fixing the gas heater. It would be nice to keep it around 80 degrees or so.

we got solar heating hooked up to our pool. very cost effective and efficient. you might want to look into it.

Is it very expensive for the initial instalation? Will it keep a pool at 80 degrees by itself or is it just a helper heater? What about cloudy day's/week's?
