need help!!! hifin spotted plecos

hey everyone. i have had a problem with my hifin spotted plecos. I bought one with my starter fish but we noticed that his sides looked a little puffy but he wasn't fat and he died suddenly one day. so we got a new smaller one a few weeks ago and he just died and had that stuff on his side. [the stuff with the new one was very white] also he wouldn't eat that much. if u have any idea wat to do or if it common please help!!!

High Fin Spotted Pleco usually means Gibbiceps. They can get to over a foot in length.

You didnt say what other fish you have....did a bigger fish thump on them and wound them? I'd change like 90% water if I had TWO fish die one after the other....

It is probably from the person you got them from, I bought one from a petspart and he is perfectly healthy
