Those are easy to get in Louisiana... but they usually come in a paper bag... very dead. I actually caught one in a river in Arkansas was I younger. I felt pretty awesome.
Hmmm.. if I recall.. I had a friend who once had one as pet. She brought it out to Utah, and it died (climate I suppose). I think she said that you can actually put them on ice, and put it into kind of a comma, and ship it that way. Maybe you could try calling some pet-stores in the south. I will ask her where she got hers.

Do crayfish only breed with there own kind? I cant mix crayfish because i dont think ill be able to find another... How to sex I know look underneath ill take pics tomorrow if someone will sex this for me...
I really havent a clue what it is... Do crayfish usually get this big??? I know ppl eat them so they prob get a lil bigger huh? Dont lobsters have like stubby claws??

They do sometimes breed with others like alleni.
