Need Help Identifying a Spiny Eel

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Spiny Eel that I was told is a Peacock Eel. After setting up a quarantine tank to drop it in, I'm not sure that it is a peacock eel. So I need a second opinion because I believe it is a Malabar Eel, but I'm not so sure.0. .I. purchased it from PetsMart and this is the third time I was told it was a Peacock Eeel. The first one I purchased was a Tire Track Eel, then the second was a Half Banded Spiny Eel. Thank you for your help.

Hard to tell in the bag. Would take some in tank pics after it settles in.

Like what was said above its hard to tell in the bag, but from what I can tell, it does appear to be a peacock eel. most likely Macrognathus aculeatus.
