need help identifying dont know if its armatus or tat

Sabertooth Fish (Not the real name, just the name given in most LFS's..)

I dont know much about them, other than they are agressive, need live feeders, and get very large, like needing over 100g aquarium just for one...

Not sure of the scientific name either.. I have heard some call it a payara.. if that helps any...
