Need help in identifying stewartii gender

can anybody help me is this a male or a female? Clearest pic ive got.

I got myself 3 of em actually. This is the pic from top taken at the LFS.

Only about 3-4 inches. Hmm thought so. So we can only determine their sex when they're matured ?

I agree with Brucki. The best way to sex them is to get a group and let them select. Once they're grown up, it's difficult to get them to do that. Also, an established pair in the LFS/wild will act differently once introduced to a new setup. I've had a friend get me a pair which was breeding in the wild for my tank. The male apparently killed the female when they were in captivity. Good luck!

Got it at Aquatics International. Really? Stewartii's are very common

I mean I haven't keep any stewartii at the moment. Where do you live? I'm from Subang and pretty closed to AI. Maybe we could meet sometimes because not so many my friends here loved channa.
